Check out our new look

Mostly Eating has a new look for 2011.  I loved the old design dearly but it was time for a change.  Do have a look round then let me know what you think!

Behind the scenes we’ve made the big jump from Movable Type over to WordPress. Movable Type has done a good job running this site since 2007 (gosh, has it really been that long?)  but it was time to move on to something easier to support and with all the benefits of the thriving WordPress development community. As you can imagine, moving four year’s worth of posts and customisations over to a new platform was never going to be a trivial undertaking and I’ve needed a bit of help.  A huge, huge thanks goes to Versantus for their technical expertise, patience and sense of humour.

All your old bookmarks should work but if there’s something you can’t find then drop me an email or leave a comment here and I’ll investigate.

*Great* new look Sophie. And it looks like you’ve simplified as well, the site looks cleaner, less cluttered. I loved your old site, and if you’d asked me I would have said “don’t change a thing”, but you know what, the new site is really quite beautiful.

Looks wonderful, Sophie. I love the way you’ve organized the content. And the pages all look so inviting. Well done.

I like the way you can get an overview of what’s available in each category with the pictures and introductory words. It’s much more tempting to the eye than a tag-cloud.
