Today will be a day chilling out on the settee for me, reading The Smelly Sprout, watching the other half play MarioKart on the Wii and messing with my awesome new rice cooker/slow cooker/steamer/porridge cooker gadget.
For you enthusiastic souls straight on to New Year’s resolutions, I just wanted to post a couple of links. I wrote last year all about Dave Seah’s Groundhog Day resolutions, an easy way to make your resoutions accountable by checking in with them once a month through the year (this one has the added bonus that you get January to research and plan, without having to leap straight into action today when you are probably feeling knackered and distinctly unfit). Or you might prefer Chris Brogan’s approach of three memorable words to define three goals for the year. This one is a new idea to me but makes a lot of sense; three simple words to apply to your decisions through the year, be they related to nutrition, healthy eating, sustainability or something else entirely.
